A New Begining

The time has come for a new fresh start for my and my boys. After 3 long year of not alot of happiness I finally found the courage and the strength to file for divorce and it was final last month. Things have been hard to get used to but thank goodness for the worlds best parents who are awlays my safe place to land, they welcomed us with open arms no questions asked. Parker is growing like a weed and is SOOOO smart, and cooper is crawling around like a crazy man and thinking he is big enough to walk even though he's not. But he is still bald and toothless at 10 months old. My boys are my whole world and despite the hard times I know we can pull through.

3 & 18 months

Parker and Cooper will be 3 & 18 months this month and i can't believe how fast time flys and how big they both are getting. I took Parker for his 18 month check up today and he is in the 36 % for weight and 94 % for height he will be tall and skinny just like his daddy. cooper will go for his 4 month check up next month.

today we went back for another 4d ultra sound since the last one didn't turn out so good and this one was much more successful.

Today I went for my 4D ultrasound but little cooper man didnt feel like cooperating so we only got a few pictures but we will try again next week when i go for my 32 week appointment.

Moms Scary Scary Day

So on the 1st Parker had an appointment to go get his ear tubes in so we could finally beat these stupid ear infections. I had to be at the hospital at 6:45 am because Parker was supposed to be the first surgery of the day. After i told them that he had been up with a fever in the night they decided to push him to the end of the line so they could make sure he wouldn't have any problems which was 9 am. Ha Ha is all i have to say to their theory of no problems. they came and took him back and what was supposed to be ten minutes seemed like 30 and then they finally came and got me to come back and see him. When I got back there he was just coming out of anaesthesia and was not happy which is normal except that his heart rate was out of control going back and forth from 210 to the 160's (a baby's heart rate should be 120ish). so all the doctors and nurses were standing around staring at us. they called down the top pediatrician who is a neonatal specialist because they thought he might have malignant hypothermia which effects about 1 in 200 kids after anaesthesia. I was so scared and of course i was alone cause it was only supposed to be a 30 minute thing. by this time it was almost noon and the doctor decoded he was having an allergic reaction to the anaesthesia and he needed to be admitted. at this point he had a fever and needed an I.V. it took 5 nurses and phlebotomists and hour to find a vein on my poor baby. David was out of town and I finally broke down and called my mom in tears and told her to come to the hospital, I was so scared. She got there and preceded to yell at me for not eating all day and she knew cause i was shaking a ton and didn't even know it.

Over the next 2 days his fevers went up and down so high that they were uncomfortable letting him go home. Dr. Qwak thinks because his ears were so infected some other bacteria just moved in and made itself at home so they blasted him with antibiotics for the next 2 days and by about 5 pm on the 3rd they finally discharged us with no real answers except that he is probably allergic to anaesthesia. but he was his usual charming self and made friends with all the doctors and nurses. he is my happy buy but it was a very scary few days.

Pickles and other things

Parker is starting more and more to want whatever you are eating and the other day it was a pickle that david was eating. At first it was so funny cause his facial expression was total shocked but then he surprised us by not wanting to give it back. He had a hay day until he dropped it on the floor and then he was pissed. So we immediatley got him a new one and took a few bites out of it so he could suck the juice.

Parker is also getting his 3rd tooth on the top. I can see that it is right there wanting to pop through and i wish it would cause he is so cranky. I know everyone says he should be crawling by now (he will be 9 months on the 14th) but he just dosent even seem to care about it just like his mommy didn't when she was a baby. Don't get me wrong he sits up and scoots backward so he is mobile but he gets so mad when he is trying to get something and he goes backwards instead of forwards. It is so funny. But all in all he is doing great, he feels so much better since he got his ear tubes in and he is finally sleeping again. YAY for mommy. here are some pickle pics

Christmas and New Years

Christmas and new years was busy busy for us. We had all the boys here from out of town so there were 5 people in my little tiny house....I know my post is way behind but i just now feel like i am getting back into the swing of things. we had a great Christmas and a very low key new year. I posted some pictures. lets see updates....

Parker- Parker will be 6 months old in less than a week, he is sitting up, eating yummy baby food, growing like a weed and sucking on anything he Can get his hands on. he starts daycare on Monday. sad for me and my mom but we both need to work more so hopefully he will adapt well.

Austin and Logan- they are both great boys and we loved having them here for 11 days. they are both getting so big and they are so funny. they had so much fun getting to know their baby brother.

Jacque and David- we are both doing well, we both are working a lot even though we don't want to. We hope to buy a house this year but we will see, everything is looking up and we are saying goodbye to 2009 with pleasure and welcome 2010 with open arms.

4 month..well almost 5

Parker is almost % months and he is huge. when we went for his 4 month check up he was 16.5 lbs. he is in the 85% for height and the 75% for weight and 65% for head size. he has only rolled over a couple of times but his doctor says "if you were that big would you roll over?" so were not that worried. his pediatrician was the infectious disease doctor at primary children's for 30 years so i tend to believe him. but he is so fun. he laughs at everything and he talks and plays and he loves his bumbo and his high chair. he started solids and he seems to like them. he is just getting too big too fast. time flies.

3 Months Old!!!!!!

Wow I can not believe that yesterday was Parker's 3 month birthday!!!! It feels like just yesterday that we brought him home. He is amazing, He is so smart and active he is always kicking and talking and he just started doing razzies, he has also just discovered that his hands are a great thing to suck on so he is drooling everywhere. he had a little cold last week so i took him to the Dr. and he is 14 1/2 lbs. he is huge. he loves his bumbo and his play mat he is starting to bat at the toys. He does he funniest thing when he is upset David will turn the mp3 player on his phone on to Chicago and set it in his car seat and he stops crying immediately!!! he is the best part of my every day and i am enjoying him so much he is the best

For some unknown reason David and I have started to call parker "bob". so consequently everything turn into a "bob" word. we change the words of songs to bob. we basically put bob into any sentance possible, so when we decided to make him a hippo for halloween natully he became a bobootamus. here are some pictures.

The Duck Outfit

Right after I found out what I was having my mom set out to make a cute little outfit and it came out being the duck outfit. wehave been waiting and waiting for it to finally fit hoping that summer wouldn't be gone when it finlly did and this is the result.

Parker's First Bath

So We finally got to give parker his first real bath a coule of days ago.....it seemed like it took forever because his belly button stump took forever to come off but whewe got him in the sink he ony tensed up for a second until he realized that it was n't as bad as he thought. he did so good he didn't cry once and he slept so good that night. I don't know if one has anything to do with the other but I'd like to think so.

38 Weeks

Today I had my doctors appointment to strip my membranes and stretch my cervix. It was awful!!!!!! can you say ouch. anyway hopefully the result will be that within the next 24 hours we will have a new perfect baby boy. I am so excited and I am so ready to not be pregnant!!!

36 Weeks

Ok so i have made it to 36 weeks!!!!! Am I done yet or what. I am as big as a house and I feel like this baby is going to explode out of my chest like on the alien movie or something. we went for our 3D ultra sound and the Doctor couldnt see anything!!! Baby Parker was turned around and to far down so that was disappointing adn then when i went for my check up on wednesday my dr said that he got his new 4D machine in finally but i am to far along for it to not be a scary squished looking baby. But i have been released from work restriction now since i am considered "full term" so now i can work more than 4 hours a day and maybe i can accomplish something. But now it's just a waiting game. Hopefully he dosent wait to long.....

27 Weeks

Well today I went for my 27 week check up and everything is going great. my belly is measuring just how it should and the babys heartbeat is strong and the doctor says he is right on track. I still am not showing very much but I finally bought maternity pants cause my fat jeans are to uncomfortable to wear. but still if you didn't know i was prego you would just think i was chubby. Next week i have to go take my glucose test and I am not to excited because I hate hate hate having my blood drawn but oh well. I have gone a little nuts buying things and I really need to slow it down cause i fear i may be going overboard. But oh well!!

23 Weeks

I had my 23 week doctor appt today and even though i am not showing at all the doctor says that baby parker is doing good. i am loosing weight which isnt good but he says hopefully i will do better next month. I also have an ear infection which explains why i can't seem to sleep on my right side. go figure huh? but all in all everything looks good and my boy is growing strong and healthy despite all that is going on in my crazy world.

5 Months

So I am almost half way through my pregnancy an even though i feel bigger you can't even tell I am pregnant if you look at me. Every morning I wake up and look down at my belly and wonder if today is the day but its not and i guess that's a good thing but i still wish you could tell a little bit, isn't that part of the process. oh well because in 12 days if we are lucky we find out if we are having a boy or a girl!!!!

Well yesterday I went for my second doctor appointment and while we thought we were going to get to hear the heartbeat we go an even better surprise when my doctor came in with the ultra sound machine and squirted that really cold jelly on my stomach and showed us our tiny little baby. I would post the one she printed for us if my printer and other computer wasn't packed and ready to move. But it was very exciting and we found out that theirs is only one baby in there thank goodness. YAY!!!

The Joys of Early Pregnancy

So all I really have to say is BUGHHH! Tomorrow is my first doctors appointment and I am very excited for that but these other joys of my first trimester are not so wonderful. I am not a person the really gets sick or complains about every little cough or ache or pain but this is just ridiculous.

1. Since the day i found out i was pregnant i gave up my beloved diet coke and if you know me than you know what i mean.

2. The smell, taste, sight of any form of chicken makes me want to pull my guts out.

3. Morning sickness at night EVERY night.

4. Being cranky at my wonderful husband for no reason and knowing he hates putting up with it.

5. One word SLEEPY.

Anyway I am very excited to be out of my first trimester to see if some of these lovely symptoms go the heck away. In the end I know that it wil always be worth it.

Blue Berry

So I am 7 weeks pregnant this week and that means my baby is the size of a blueberry, it is just crazy to me that at that size is has a brain and organs and little flippers that will be hands, and eyes. I just think thats amazing.

BABY ON THE WAY

So for the past couple of weeks I had been feeling pretty tired and just run down and i thought nothing of it until my friend jokingly said hey maybe your pregnant. and then it hit me that maybe i was. So I went to the store and bought a pregnancy test and i came right home and took it. The answer was YES. I couldn't even believe it. I sent David a text first thing to tel him and then I tried to call my mom but she didn't answer for like 4 hours. So in m shock I took the other test and it said YES too. So I called the doctor and I made an appointment and then I called everyone I could think of. We are both really excited and shocked that it happened so soon but we know what a blessing it is. YEAH!!!! I am so Happy...

Waiting, Waiting, Waiting

So I must say that for my wedding i did have the most fabulous photographer ever and i will recommend her until i die i sware. Sharon Johnson is her name and she is awesome. She followed me around all day on my wedding day, to the hair salon and everything so it goes without saying that i am loosing my mind waiting for my pictures to come. i am so excited. If they turn out even half as good as my bridals i will be so happy.
